ROME CITY TOUR – (5 – 7 hours)

This particular tour has been designed to optimize your time.

It will start from hotel lobby or apartment. Our experienced driver guide will drive you around Rome in a comfortable a/c Mercedes Minivan. During this amazing tour we will show you the main beauties in town.

The Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps, Navona Square, the Pantheon, the Coliseum (from outside), Circus Maximus, St. Angel Castle, Mausoleum of Augustus, the Catacombs, a stunning view of the city from the Gianicolo hill and more……… At the end of the day your driver-guide will drop you off back to your hotel or anywhere you prefer in the city.

ROME BY NIGHT (2 hours)
Start Time 9 pm

This tour gives you the opportunity to have a great introduction of Rome at night. You’ll be picked up from the restaurant after your dinner or from your hotel and driver around by your driver guide, stopping near by the main sites. Rome has a unique charm at night, illuminated monuments make the difference!!

TIVOLI – Villa Adriana e Villa D’Este (7 hours)

Villa Adriana, the residence of emperor Adriano (117 a.d. – 138 a.d.), only 30 minutes drive from Rome, the ancient ruines still talk about the great emperor; Roman baths, libraries, temples and mosaics show you the power of Rome.

Villa D’este, one of the most significant and complete monuments of the reinassance architecture. The Villa shows you the beauty of the typical italian garden, it is the perfect combination of gardens and fountains, grottoes and nymfhaeums where the cardinal Ippolito D’Este used to live, pray and work.

POMPEII AND THE AMALFI COAST (11 hours)
Start Time 7:30 am

Your day will start from your hotel lobby or apartment and after a drive of a couple of hours you will reach Pompeii where a local tour guide will take you around the ruins of the ancient city. The eruption of Vesuvius of 79 a.d. covered with ashes the center area of Pompeii, killing more than 2000 people. For centuries the city was forgotten, only in the 18 century they started to dig in the area and frescoes, mosaics and villas came alive again. After Pompeii you will reach the Amalfi coast visiting Sorrento, Positano or Ravello where you can have time for lunch and shopping in one of these villages.

SHORE EXCURSION – Combined with Vatican or ancient Rome Tour (9 hours) – Start Time 8 am

The tour will start from your cruiseship with your driver-guide waiting for you. 45 miles drive separate you from Rome. In about 5 hours you will see most of the sities of Rome: The Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Appia way and more……….

For this day you can choose the option of the Vatican Tour or the Ancient Rome Tour. After that your driver-guide will take you back to the ship.

ANCIENT OSTIA (4 hours)

Only 30 minutes drive from Rome, there is the famous archeological scavi area of Ancient Ostia, the first port and colony of Rome. The preservation of this important village is spectacular! You will see the incredible mosaic of the roman baths walking through real roman life.

UMBRIA TOUR (8 hours)
Start Time 8:30 am

Umbria is considered the green heart of Italy; olive trees, cypresses and grapevines will keep you company for the entire day. After a drive about 90 minutes you will arrive in Orvieto a pearl of this Region.

The Duomo is the main attraction of this medieval village but don’t miss the visit of the city undergrounds. Lunch in Orvieto is a must, with outstanding local food and wine. After lunch you will reach the so-called “dying village” or “the ghosts town” of Civita di Bagnoreggio” unesco world heritage site.

TUSCANY (Florence) (11 hours)

Not a lot of time, while you are in Rome, to visit Florence? Your Tuscan day will start from your hotel in Rome and after drive of about 2 hours, we will reach Florence, the birth-place of the Italian Reinassance!

You will meet your Florence guide in the heart of the city and for 3 hours you will experience the beauties of this incredible town. After the tour you will have time for lunch and shopping
